There are a few players in history who participated in both games.
- Gene Conley
It is very rare that any athlete played for two sports at one time. Gene Conley was one of them. He won three times championships. He played form Boston Celtics.
- Dave DeBusschere
He was a member of Chicago White Sox . He had played both games and was famous for excellent performance. He pitched titans in NCCA baseball competitions. After a few years of his career in both sports he decided to work hard for basketball only. In 1970 champions trophy he knocked out all teams.
- Danny Ainge
He was a renowned member of Celtic teams in 1980’s. He had also played for Toronto Blue Jays. He was a part of the game in two championships. In basketball he was a great leader for his team. As a talented high school player he got scholarship in basketball sport. He left baseball in late 80’s to give attention on basketball. His efforts made him perform best in 1988 season.
- Keith Erickson
Keith was the best player of his time. His coach was very happy with him. He started his career by winning junior basketball championship. He also won NCAA basketball title in 1964.
- Carl Crawford
From high school Carl could play three sports football, basketball, and baseball. He was more interested in football and later rejected offer for the scholarship in basketball.
- Dave Winfield
He played three different sports. He started as an athlete form Minnesota College as a baseball player. He had played baseball for NBA’s Atlanta Hawks, NFL’s Vikings and San Diego Padres.
- Jim Thorpe
He is an Olympic gold medal winner and famous player of baseball major leagues. He is prominent for his multi sports activities. He was also NFL’s president at one time.
